The pop-up art on the building, created in close collaboration with Galerie Andres Thalmann and Art Leasing &amp; Invest AG, was ceremonially unveiled in front of the numerous journalists and photographers present.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Davenport is one of the most famous representatives of the Young British Artists movement. He plays with powerful colours and perceptible energies, so that depending on the environment and the incidence of light a constantly new colour experience is created. The artist with an outstanding international reputation and collector&#8217;s audience exhibits his works in renowned museums and galleries worldwide &#8211; from S\u00e3o Paulo, New York, London and Singapore to Zurich. &#8220;The breathtaking effect of this work of art on the oversized surface was the decisive factor in Ian Davenport&#8217;s choice,&#8221; explains Zurich gallery owner Carina Andres Thalmann.<\/p>\n<p>But the expressive design of Davenport&#8217;s color gradient artworks unfolds its emotional potential not only on large canvasses, but also on the &#8220;smallest canvas in the world&#8221;. On the joint initiative of SWATCH and Galerie Andres Thalmann, Ian Davenport is invited to design the limited and numbered Art Special watch &#8220;Wide Acres of Time&#8221; for Swatch.
